What We Do
We provide statistical, mathematical, and numerical analysis to support the management of natural resources in the Pacific Northwest.
- We conduct studies on how to most effectively monitor fish populations and habitat features that are part of large-scale spatially varying environments to quantify fish-habitat relationships for structured decision making.
- We develop methods to evaluate progress on salmon recovery plan implementation, constructing novel statistical methods to analyze time series of populations and communities, and developing data management tools to track the progress on salmon recovery plan actions.
