Incidental Take Permit to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD)

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) has been issued a permit for the incidental take of green (Chelonia mydas), loggerhead (Caretta caretta), hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata), and Kemp’s ridley (Lepidochelys kempii) sea turtles, associated with otherwise lawful fishery-independent gill net surveys within Texas bays and estuaries. This permit will be active for 10 years.
