Incidental Take Permit to Virginia Electric and Power Company, D.B.A. Dominion Virginia Power

Dominion Chesterfield Power Station in Chester, VA, is a coal fueled power generating facility. Virginia Electric and Power Company, D.B.A. Dominion Virginia Power, has applied to renew a permit for the incidental take of ESA-listed Atlantic sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrinchus oxyrinchus) from the Chesapeake Bay Distinct Population Segment. The takes would be attributed to otherwise lawful activities associated with the continued operation and maintenance of the facility, including entrainment and impingement sampling required by the Clean Water Act.
