The 2018 initial total allowable catch of Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands (BSAI) Alaska plaice in the BSAI management area have been supplemented by amounts of the reserve according to James W. Balsiger, NOAA Fisheries Administrator, Alaska Region. This action is being taken in accordance with 50 CFR 679.20(b)(3).

Fishermen are reminded that all actions and closures remain in full force and effect. This apportionment does not rescind or modify closures to directed fishing or actions prohibiting retention of a groundfish species.
