Inseason Action #8 - #9 in Ocean Salmon Fisheries, North of Cape Falcon (Commercial)

NOAA Fisheries has taken inseason action in the commercial salmon fishery north of Cape Falcon.

Inseason #8:

  • Effective Friday, June 19 at 12:01 a.m., through Tuesday, June 23 at 11:59 p.m., the commercial troll fishery in the area between the U.S./Canada border and Cape Falcon is open with a landing and possession limit of 20 Chinook per vessel for the open period.
  • Effective Tuesday, June 23 at 11:59 p.m., the commercial troll fishery in the area between the U.S./Canada border and Cape Falcon is closed.

Inseason #9:

  • Effective 12:01 a.m., Wednesday July 1, landing and possession limit for the commercial troll fishery in the area between the U.S./Canada border and Cape Falcon of 50 Chinook and 50 marked coho per vessel for the period July 1-July 8.
  • Effective 12:01 a.m., Thursday July 9, landing and possession limit for the commercial troll fishery in the area between the U.S./Canada border and Cape Falcon of 50 Chinook and 50 marked coho per vessel per landing week (Thursday-Wednesday).
