NMFS Announces the Availability of an Online Logbook Request Form

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) announces a new method of ordering logbooks, according to Robert D. Mecum, Acting Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS.

Participants in the groundfish fisheries of the Gulf of Alaska and Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area may now request logbooks online. In addition to requesting logbooks by e-mail, fax, telephone, or letter, logbooks may now be ordered through the NMFS Alaska Region website by completing a Logbook Request Form online <link to /comment/lborderform.aspx>. Simply fill in the requested information, including the number of logbooks requested.
