Anna H. N. Alexandrou
Instructor, Fisheries Monitoring and Research
Anna graduated in 2017 from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Marine, Estuarine, and Freshwater Biology and a minor in Greek. She began observing in 2022 as an ASM out of Boston, MA and went on to observe in the NEFOP and IFS programs. During her career as an observer, Anna was awarded observer of the month and identified the greatest number of species for two quarters. After covering trips on nearly every gear type, she transitioned into working as an instructor with the observer program in 2025. She is originally from Lexington, MA and now lives in Palmer, MA with her fiance Vince. Anna is a devoted plant mom, avid SCUBA diver, enjoys cooking, and will never pass up a chance to go to the beach.
