Ayshe Yeager
Ayshe joined NOAA Fisheries in 2021 as an Administrative Assistant for the Records and Information Management program within the Information Services Division. After graduating from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a double Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Japanese Studies, Ayshe lived and worked in Hokkaido, Japan where she developed management and organizational skills. Now that she’s back in Alaska, Ayshe is getting her science brain activated again, working on a GIScience graduate certificate through Oregon State University’s E-campus by night and organizing the Alaska Region’s Fisheries records by day. When Ayshe’s not at a computer or staring at the ocean until a whale appears, she is generally found practicing martial arts or swing dancing while waiting for the next adventure to unfold.
