Brian L. Brown

Brian is the Assistant Regional Administrator (ARA) for the Information Services Division in the Alaska Region. He previously served as ARA of the Restricted Access Management Division (RAM), overseeing commercial fishing permit issuance, quota allocations, and the Alaska Region's federal records management and FOIA coordination. During his time with RAM, he also served as the Regional eLandings Coordinator for the inter-agency electronic catch reporting system. With over twenty years of experience across NOAA Fisheries, the U.S. Coast Guard, state agencies in Alaska and Texas, and the private tech sector, Brian brings extensive public administration and technical expertise to his leadership role.
