Eleanor Vieira
Ellie is from Bethesda, Maryland, and recently completed her first year at the University of Georgia, where she is majoring in Ocean Science with minors in Biology and Scientific Diving. She is passionate about marine biology research and conservation and is eager to explore the fields within marine science as she develops her career interests. Outside of academics, Ellie enjoys all things ocean, including surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. As a certified scuba diver, she has explored a variety of dive sites, and these experiences have deepened her appreciation for the marine environment and inspired her academic interests. She is excited to be contributing to the Southeast Fisheries Science Center as a communications intern and looks forward to learning more about marine science through this experience.
