Professional History

Jerry has participated in sampling aboard United State and foreign-flagged vessels, collecting plankton samples and hydrographic data for the MArine Resources Monitoring, Assessment, & Prediction program, and serves as chief scientist for the Ecosystem Monitoring surveys aboard NOAA vessels and chartered vessels. He has worked with other Northeast Fisheries Science Center scientists on the distribution and abundance of zooplankton in the northeastern US waters, and with Environmental Protection Agency on the spatial variability of nitrogen isotope ratios of particulate matter from northwest Atlantic continental shelf waters.
