Jill Prewitt, M.S.
Jill conducts Endangered Species Act section 7 consultations. She joined the Anchorage Regional Office in April 2018 as a contractor, and in November 2018 as a full-time employee. Prior to joining NOAA, Jill earned her Masters of Science at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) in 2008. While in graduate school from 2004-2008, she worked as part of a collaborative project on harbor seals between UAA and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. She then worked as a Research Associate at the Alaska Sealife Center in Seward, Alaska, from 2007-2013. Then from 2013-2018, Jill worked at the North Atlantic Marine Mammal Commission, based in Tromsø, Norway, where her main role was coordinating the activities of the Scientific Committee.
