Julie Fair

Julie has served as NOAA Fisheries Public Affairs Officer and communications lead for the Alaska Regional Office since 2010. Before joining NOAA, she worked for the U.S. Forest Service in Alaska, including at that agency's Alaska Regional Office and the Tongass National Forest. Julie's experience also includes 6 years providing communications and marketing support for the U.S. military in Germany, and ten years as a broadcast news producer for ABC, CBS, and NBC affiliates. She has a B.A. in Radio-TV-Film Communications from Purdue University. On her personal time, Julie likes to spend time with family, be outdoors, and travel.
