Lauren Connor

 Lauren joined the Whale Ecology Branch (WEB) in 2024. Her research currently focuses on using satellite imagery to better understand and identify North Atlantic Right Whales and Beluga whales, as well as other species of interest for the Geospatial Artificial Intelligence for Animals (GAIA) project. Lauren has her Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience from Florida Atlantic University, and her Master’s in Environmental GIS Science from Unity College. Lauren’s previous work has focused on remote sensing, GIS and marine mammalogy.
