Shannon Bettridge

Shannon Bettreidge is the Deputy Director of NOAA Fisheries' Office of Sustainable FIsheries. 
Ms. Bettridge joined the Office of Sustainable Fisheries in 2026. She brings two decades of NOAA Fisheries experience, most recently as Acting Deputy Director of the Office of Protected Resources. Prior to coming to NOAA Fisheries, she worked at the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission. Ms. Bettridge completed her Bachelors degree at the University of Michigan and her Masters and Ph.D. at the University of Rhode Island.
