Tess Petesch
Social Scientist (Affiliate)
Tess earned a BA in Economics from Colby College and a Master’s in Environmental Management from Duke University. She has interned at the New England Fishery Management Council and worked as an affiliate for the Northwest Fisheries Science Center assessing the economic impacts of catch shares programs. She also worked as an economist at the Environmental Protection Agency where she estimated the impacts of air pollution regulations. She joined the Social Sciences Branch at NEFSC in 2026 as an affiliate to provide analytical support for recreational fisheries policy.
