Victoria Hermanson

Victoria Hermanson is a Biological Science Aid with the Antarctic Ecosystem Research Division (AERD) at the Southwest Fisheries Science Center. She completed her Bachelor's degree at U.C. Santa Cruz and her Masters from Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Victoria supports AERD’s Seabird Research Program which studies predator-prey interactions with krill. She participates in annual Antarctic field seasons monitoring seabirds and collecting data. When not in the field Victoria uses machine learning artificial intelligence to analyze video data.
