Educator Workshop: Scientific Inquiry in the Field
Learn how to design and conduct outdoor investigations with students about climate change and human health that could lead to student-directed action projects using the Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE).
About
This dynamic online course will ask you to take your learning outside to conduct investigations of your local environment around climate change and human health. Investigations will be supported/facilitated by community leaders, scientists, and educators from NOAA, the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. This course is designed to model a Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) through participant-driven field experiences and authentic research.
