This multiday, virtual workshop will deliver skills, tools, and resources to help educators teach climate change concepts.
About
Gain the skills, tools, and resources to teach climate change concepts and empower your students in all subject areas at this year’s Summer Institute for Climate Change Education. This unique learning experience is hosted by Climate Generation in partnership with NOAA’s Climate Program. Educators from around the country will participate in virtual sessions together July 18-19. Then, the NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office will lead educators from the mid-Atlantic area in regionally focused activities on July 20. This year’s theme, “Finding our Collective Strength,” focuses on building the collective strength to inspire hope and action in our communities. Educators will connect to an engaged network of peers from around North America, providing support throughout the year. Scholarships are available.
