Joint Milford Aquaculture Seminar / Northeast Aquaculture Conference and Expo
The biennial Northeast Aquaculture Conference & Exposition (NACE) was created in 1998 by the Maine Aquaculture Innovation Center with the goal of bringing together producers, service providers, vendors, researchers, students and managers from across the northeast region to discuss pressing issues and relevant research on aquaculture.
About
Since 1975, NOAA Fisheries Milford Laboratory has convened the Milford Aquaculture Seminar as a forum for technology transfer among the Lab, aquaculture community, scientific and academic communities, regulators and the public. The seminar is held every January. In 2015 the decision was made to hold the MAS jointly with the Northeast Aquaculture Conference and Expo (NACE), and this arrangement will continue in odd numbered years. The next joint MAS/NACE meeting will be January 2019.
