JTC online meeting to prepare for the 2026 Pacific hake/whiting stock assessment, and recap the 2025 fishery and research projects.

The Joint Technical Committee (JTC), created under the Pacific Hake/Whiting Treaty between the Governments of the United States and Canada, will meet by webinar only, on December 10 2025, to prepare for the 2026 Pacific hake/whiting stock assessment. In addition, the Acoustic-Trawl Survey Team will provide a brief recap of the 2025 Integrated West Coast Pacific hake/whiting and coastal pelagic species acoustic survey.
The JTC meeting is open to the public and members of the Pacific hake/whiting treaty advisory bodies and interested parties are encouraged to attend.
This meeting will facilitate remote participation online via webinar. Information to connect to the webinar is included below.
