Pacific Hake/Whiting Treaty: U.S. - Canada JMC Virtual Meeting, June 23, 2026

The Joint Management Committee (JMC) created under the Pacific Hake/Whiting Agreement between the Governments of the United States and Canada, will meet by webinar only on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to ~4:30 p.m. by webinar only (connection details below).

This meeting will cover a range of topics including the process for annually identifying JMC science and research priorities, discussion of the feasibility and timeline for recent scientific requests made by the JMC in their March letter, and the timing of future JMC & Advisory Panel Total Allowable Catch setting meetings in February/March of each year. This meeting is open to the public, there will be opportunity for public comment.

Pacific hake/whiting industry members, members of the Pacific hake/whiting treaty advisory bodies, and interested parties are encouraged to attend.
