Pacific Hake/Whiting Treaty: U.S. - Canada JMC Virtual Meeting, September 15, 2025

The Joint Management Committee (JMC) created under the Pacific Hake/Whiting Agreement between the Governments of the United States and Canada, will meet by webinar only on September 15, 2025 to discuss the status of the 2025 hake/whiting fishery in the U.S. and Canada, provide updates on Treaty committee appointments, future research needs, technical team workplan for the coming year, and upcoming Treaty meetings.

This meeting is open to the public, there will be opportunity for public comment.

Pacific hake/whiting industry members, members of the Pacific hake/whiting treaty advisory bodies, and interested parties are encouraged to attend.
