WCPFC Permanent Advisory Committee Meeting
NOAA Fisheries announces a public meeting of the Permanent Advisory Committee, October 6–8, 2025, to advise the U.S. Commissioners to the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission.

UPDATE: The October 2025 meeting was cancelled due to the lapse in federal appropriations. Alternatively, PAC members submitted written recommendations.
NOAA Fisheries will hold a virtual meeting of the Permanent Advisory Committee (PAC) from October 6–8, 2025. The purpose of the meeting is to advise the U.S. Commissioners to the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC). Meeting topics may include:
- PAC Chair and Vice Chair Elections
- 2025 U.S. Objectives for the 22nd Regular Session of the Commission
- 2025 WCPFC Subsidiary Body Meetings
- Opportunity for the U.S. Participating Territories (American Samoa, Guam, and CNMI) to present their priority issues to the U.S. Commissioners

This meeting is open to the public and will be conducted via web conference. Additional meeting details are available in the Federal Register notice

Please complete the meeting interest form by September 26, 2025, if you are interested in attending the meeting or receiving meeting materials. Meeting documents will be emailed in advance of the conference call.
Submit Comments
You are welcome to submit written comments on meeting topics and materials. Comments must be received by September 22, 2025, to be included in the meeting materials.
