Centralized Account Management (CAM) System

This is a centralized user management system that uses one database schema to store all ST application users. It organizes and manages them using a standard scheme that complies with IT security requirements.

To allow internal users (i.e. users who have NOAA email account) to use their NOAA email account and password for application access. Non-NOAA users will be assigned a default password which they will need to change prior to use.

This metadata record is intended to provide current, summary information on this system. As the system continues to evolve, each production release of this system will have a child metadata record within this parent record (see "Child Items" below). This metadata record will be updated over time to reflect any major changes to the system. Minor changes and release specific information will be documented in the children, release specific metadata records.
