These data have been used to develop estimates of population size for target species for use in stock assessment reports.
To assess the abundance and spatial distribution of cetaceans in the surveyed area.
Aerial surveys were conducted during September/October 1992-1996 and the during 2017 and 2018. Survey data include visual observation data sets, photographs, and limited environmental sampling in some cases.
