samples are mostly collected from recreational fishery during dock visits so the freshness of the samples are good but not perfect.

The data resides on a secure government network requiring multi-factor authentication for network access.
samples and data are mostly collected by a Port Agent in Louisiana over a couple of months time period. Once that person's freezer is full then they send a cooler full of them to the Miami office for archiving and data entry.

Samples are collected. Collection data is recorded on hardcopy (notebook or datasheet and on sample baggy). Remotely collected samples are shipped to Miami. Data is entered into Excel dataset.
