IT Security and Contingency Plan for the system establishes procedures and applies to the functions, operations, and resources necessary to recover and restore data as hosted in the Western Regional Support Center in Seattle, Washington following disruption.
Juvenile Pacific cod were collected by beach seines and shipped to the Alaska Fisheries Science Center's laboratory in Newport, Oregon.
Maximum swimming speeds of juvenile Pacific cod were measured in a recirculating swimming flume system.
Routine swimming activity trials were conducted in six replicate circular arenas. Two arenas were maintained at each of the three test temperatures and routine swimming activity was observed in each arena with an overhead video camera.
An experiment was conducted to determine whether water temperature affected the strength of association with eelgrass habitat by placing artificial seagrass bundles in patches covering 20% of each of 2 replicate tanks, introducing groups of 6 fish into each on the first day of a trial, and noting fish positions hourly for 5 hours during the 2nd and 3rd days of a trial.
