(Strata coding modified from the SVDBS definition, see SVDBS.UNION_FSCS_SVSTA.STRATUM) Code consists of 3 parts: Stratum number (2bytes) and bottom stratum type (1 bytes). Stratum number refers to strata from the SVDBS offshore stratum group with the numbers defined by depth zone. The third byte refers to the longline survey bottom strata type; 1 = smooth bottom; 0 = rough bottom. The fifth byte (following a dash as the fourth byte) is the number assigned based on the random sequential order drawn within each stratum and bottom type. For example: 270-5 would be the fifth random rough-bottom station drawn in strata 27; 361-1 would be the first random smooth-bottom station drawn in strata 36.
100 No No TRIP_ID NUMBER Unique trip identifier generated in FLDRS software. Generated to identify each fishing trip from port. Fishing operation data collected using the FLDRS software and initially loaded into FVTR tables, before being migrated to this schema. See FVTR.CRPP_VERS_TRIP
100 No No EFFORT_NUM NUMBER Unique identifier for each fishing effort (gear deployment) within a trip, see FVTR.CRPP_VERS_TRIP
100 No No STRATUM NUMBER A predefined area where the longline gear was deployed. Stratum is a two digit number referring to the stratum number from the SVDBS stratum definition, see SVDBS.UNION_FSCS_SVSTA.STRATUM. All longline strata are taken from the SVDBS offshore stratum group. May be null or differ from ASSIGNED_STRATUM, if more than 50% of the gear was deployed over the boundary into an adjoining stratum.
