5807 RB002 Larval Tuna Data Data Set Published / External 5805 Historical Research Biological Metadata Portfolio Project Completed 2016-08-06 2019-11-20 Larval tuna data were collected on NOAA research vessels or charter vessels between 1950 and 1959 and between 1961 and 1964. 1955 - 1959 IATTC data were provided to Honolulu Laboratory, and PIFSC received IATTC's approval to share their data with the public. The dataset includes date, position, depth of tow, type of gear, volume of water strained, surface temperature, surface salinity and counts of tuna larvae.
