5833 RI001 Shrimp Trap Report (RSCH) Data Set Published / External 5822 Historical Research Insular Metadata Portfolio Project Completed 1999-02 2019-05 2019-05 Shrimp trapping operations were conducted by NOAA research vessel Townsend Cromwell from 1980 to 1989 in the central and western Pacific Ocean to determine availability, catchability, distribution and relative abundance of deep water shrimp. Collected data include set and haul dates, capture location, shrimp catch and effort data (counts and weights of deep water shrimp caught and number of traps set and hauled).
