Replicate number if the laboratory analyzed the same sample multiple times by the same method (lab duplicates, typically indicated by 1,2,3) or by different methods for the same analyte (less preferred method will generally have an X).

Measured result of the Analysis. May be text or number.

Identifier for location of results in the Query Manager structure - sediment, water, oil, tissue.

The main substance of a sample as recorded by the laboratory for analysis. This may differ from the sample's Collection Matrix, which is determined by the field sampler.

Additional information on matrix as reported by laboratory. Includes tissue type, if applicable.

Laboratory method applied to perform analysis, if specified (e.g., 8081B or 8270C).

Text interpretation of qualifier codes related to the detection limit for the analyte result.

This applies to sediment samples, and classifies them as surface sediment (upper depth of 0 cm and lower depth less than 30 cm) or subsurface sediment.

The upper depth of a sediment, soil, water, oil, or tar sample.

The lower depth of a sediment, soil, water, oil, or tar sample.

The unit of the depth measurement.

Identifier assigned for internal tracking of a sample by a laboratory.

Defines sample as Sample, Field Duplicate, Field Blank, or Reference, generally based on field sample form designation. Currently only defined for samples from QM.

Distinguishes an Analysis Result as a "Calculation" or a raw "Result." A "Calculation" combines data from multiple individual "Results." If no result is available, this field will show "Status Information Only."

Lab which performed analysis.

Analytical batch as identified by the laboratory.

Percent lipids for a tissue sample, usually measured as total extractable organics.

Number of individual samples combined to form a composite.

Length of organism in centimeters, averaged for composites.

Weight of organism in grams; total weight of organisms in a composite.
