TEXT 		Code for the region surveyed in the Pacific Islands region: American Samoa, Pacific Remote Island Areas, Mariana Archipelago, main Hawaiian Islands, Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.

TEXT 		Name of island or atoll surveyed in the Pacific Islands region.
SITE
TEXT 		The code for the site surveyed at the island or atoll (ISLAND). Combines a 3-letter island code (ISLANDCODE) with a 5 digit site number.
SITEVISITID
NUMERIC 		Unique identifier created each time a SITE is surveyed on a DATE_.
REEF_ZONE
TEXT 		The zone for the given SITE (Forereef, Backreef, Protected Slope, Lagoon).
DEPTH_BIN
TEXT 		Classification of depth (shallow, mid, deep) based on midpoint between minimum and maximum depths of transect(s) of a given SITE. Shallow: >0-6 m, Mid: >6-18 m, Deep: >18-30 m

DATE 		Local date the survey was conducted.
HABITAT_CODE
TEXT 		3-letter code for habitat type (e.g. aggregate reef, reef rubble, pavement) for the given SITE.
LATITUDE_LOV
NUMERIC 		Latitude in decimal degrees, WGS84, for the given SITE.
LONGITUDE_LOV
NUMERIC 		Longitude in decimal degrees, WGS84, for the given SITE.
MAX_DEPTH_M
NUMERIC 		Maximum SITE depth (m).
MIN_DEPTH_M
NUMERIC 		Minimum SITE depth (m).
TRANSECT
TEXT 		Transect identifier (A or B). Any data entered under transect B was used for ANALYST-to-ANALYST calibration.
SEGMENT
TEXT 		Segment number (0, 5, 10, 15). Segments are within a TRANSECT and are typically 1 x 1 m in size and situated 2.5 m apart.
SEGLENGTH
NUMERIC 		Segment length (m).
SEGWIDTH
NUMERIC 		Segment width (m), usually 1 m.
SEGAREA
NUMERIC 		The area (m) of each SEGMENT surveyed.
NO_COLONY
NUMERIC 		Flag (-1) to indicate that no coral colonies were observed. 0 indicates corals were present (Added in 2018).
COLONYID
NUMERIC 		Unique coral colony identifier. COLONYID = NULL if NO_COLONY = -1 or SPCODE = NULL.
SPCODE
TEXT 		4-letter code for coral species identification. AAAA if a SEGMENT was surveyed and no individual colonies were found (NO_COLONY = -1).
FRAGMENT
NUMERIC 		Flag (-1) to indicate that the observed coral colony is a fragment and not attached to the substrate. 0 indicates the coral was not a fragment.
MORPH_CODE
TEXT 		Code for coral morphology type (branching, columnar, encrusting, etc.). NULL if NO_COLONY = -1.
EX_BOUND
NUMERIC 		Flag (-1) to indicate a coral with a max diameter that expands past image boundaries.
JUVENILE
NUMERIC 		Flag (-1) to indicate a juvenile coral.
REMNANT
NUMERIC 		Flag (-1) to indicate a coral as a remnant colony who's max diameter (Shape_Leng) cannot be determined.
Shape_Leng
NUMERIC 		Length of juvenile coral colony (<=0.05 m). Required. Shape_Leng = NULL if NO_COLONY = -1.
