This is a zip file of approximately 1000 photographs that consists of

1. Photographs of individuals dorsal fins taken during this 2018 data collection that match photographs from the long-term SEFSC photo-identification catalog.

2. All photographs from that long-term catalog that are of the same individual animal that was identified in the photographic match.

How Filenames relate to animals photographed during this study.

a. Look at the Dolfin ID Column (unique id number given to each individually identified dolphin in the NOAA Beaufort Catalog) in 2018_SNCES_id_dolphins.csv

b. IF this value starts with FB or PS (24 records total) All files in the list that start with the same 5 or 6 characters as what is in the Dolfin ID Column are of the same animal.

So For FB102

The files

FB402_25_May_07_10d_0254.jpg
FB402_2018Jan08_AMG_1116.jpg

Are photographs of that animal

c. If The value starts with SMR

like SMR466 one goes to the file list a finds a filename with SMR466 in the name,

0046_SMR466_2018Jan22_AMG_1636.jpg

Then all files that start with 0046 are of the same animal.
