OW NOAA GOES-POES Sea Surface Temperature eng Dataset GOES-POES NOAA Pacific Basin SST blended ow pifsc remote sensing satellite sea surface temperature 2-day Daily Monthly Weekly The dataset contains blended satellite-derived sea-surface temperature measurements collected by means of the Geostationary Orbiting Environmental Satellites (GOES) and the Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellites (POES). This global SST analysis provides a daily gap-free map of the foundation sea surface temperature. The data is collected daily, and is available at 2-day, weekly and monthly intervals at a spatial resolution of 0.05 degrees. The geographic coverage extends for the Pacific region,and the temporal coverage ranges from 2012-present.
