The overview booklet summarizes key findings and temporal trends from Pacific Reef Assessment and Monitoring Program surveys—part of the NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program’s broad-scale surveys program. Across the U.S. Pacific Islands, Pacific RAMP surveys incorporate benthic habitat mapping, ecological and environmental assessment and monitoring, and applied research to support improved ecosystem-based management and conservation. In this overview, we analyzed and summarized ecosystem information to provide user-friendly figures, tables, maps, and descriptions. The booklet provides a snapshot of coral reef health and conditions at the seven islands and atolls in the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument as well as comparisons to other reefs across the U.S. Pacific region.
