Environmental Assessment: Co-Management Agreement Between the National Marine Fisheries Service and the Cook Inlet Marine Mammal Council for the Year 2000

NOAA Fisheries is entering into a co-management agreement with the Cook Inlet Marine Mammal Council for the year 2000. The co-management agreement specifies the conditions, and the number of strikes allowed, under which a subsistence harvest on Cook Inlet beluga whales could be undertaken during the year 2000. The agreement specifies a harvest level of one whale strike during 2000.
