Life History of Bottomfish Management Unit Species of Guam

December 09, 2024

We identify values from several alternate sources that may be considered for many species and traits in future stock assessment of the Guam Bottomfish Management Unit Species.

Results from scientific literature and unpublished data were aggregated to document growth, maturity, longevity, and other life history trait values for each Guam Bottomfish Management Unit Species (BMUS).

The Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center (PIFSC) of NOAA Fisheries uses the NOAA Technical Memorandum NMFS-PIFSC series to distribute scientific and technical information that has been scientifically reviewed and edited. Documents within this series reflect sound professional work and may be referenced in the formal scientific and technical literature.
