Recovery Action Mapping Tool

Displays recovery action locations from Endangered Species Act (ESA) recovery plans in the West Coast Region.

Recovery plans are based on the best available science and identify the actions necessary to restore threatened and endangered species to a point where they can be self-sustaining in their natural environment. The Recovery Action Database tracks recovery action implementation across all NMFS regions. A subset of records in the Recovery Action Database, mainly salmon and steelhead records, have been mapped to spatial data (hydrologic units). Currently, only recovery actions in the West Coast Region are displayed in the Recovery Action Mapping Tool (RAMT). As additional actions are mapped in the West Coast Region, they will be added to the tool over time.
