The Gulf Shrimp Vessel and Gear Characterization Form is a required document to be completed and submitted with your application for a shrimp moratorium permit and with all annual permit renewals. This form is a standardized collection of information on shrimp vessel and gear data. The original copy of this form is to be mailed to the NOAA Fisheries Galveston Laboratory.
The Gulf of Mexico Shrimp Federal Permit Reporting Form, also known as the Gulf Shrimp Landings Report Form, is a required document to be completed and submitted prior to your application for a shrimp moratorium permit renewal (annually). This form is a standardized collection of information on landings in the Gulf of Mexico, including bays, bayous, state inshore and offshore waters, and federal waters. The original copy of this form is to be mailed to the NOAA Fisheries Galveston Laboratory.
Two form packs are sent to the Gulf Shrimp permit holder. The two forms are the Gulf of Mexico Shrimp Federal Permit Reporting Form (Landings Report) and the Gulf Shrimp Vessel and Gear Characterization Form.
