Shellfish Aquaculture Permits in Oregon Step 6: Removal-Fill Permit
Guide to Shellfish Aquaculture Permits in Oregon
Removal-Fill Permit*
Depending on the scope of your proposed aquaculture operation, you may need a removal-fill permit from the Oregon Department of State Lands (DSL). Send a completed Joint Permit Application (JPA) to DSL to apply for this permit. Contact the Aquatic Resource Coordinator for your county to determine if your project will require a removal-fill permit.
Note: If you use the Corps’ Permit Application or the Nationwide Permit Pre-Construction Notice to apply for a federal permit, you will also need to complete a JPA if a removal-fill permit is required by DSL.
