Description: |
Emergent insect cone traps are designed to capture insects as they metamorphose from aquatic nymph to terrestrial adult. The trap looks like inverted plastic funnels with a collection container attached to the top to contain the emerged insects. Each trap is anchored in the water and collects all insects that emerge in the area directly below the mouth of the funnel. |
