A 50-foot, steel-hulled vessel owned by Clatsop Community College (CCC) in Astoria, Oregon. Originally launched as a commercial fishing vessel in 1969, CCC acquired M/V Forerunner in 1974. The vessel underwent a major overhaul in 2010. M/V Forerunner has a draft of 6.5 feet and is propelled by a 335-horsepower engine (CCC 2013). |
