Identifier: Little Herc
Docucomp UUID: 4dc02bc0-9845-11e0-aa80-0800200c9a66
Description:

The remotely operated vehicle (ROV) Little Hercules was designed intentionally to capture high-definition images during deep-sea exploration. It has a buoyancy module installed which makes it neutrally buoyant in seawater and it has thrusters that allow pilots to maneuver it through the water column. Little Herc is tethered to a host vessel and has a camera sled tethered to it. The pilots aboard the vessel use the camera sled images to guide Little Herc down toward the bottom and to explore along the bottom once there.
