Abstract:

The Vessel Arrival Info is a spreadsheet that gets filled out during the initial stage of the debriefing process by the debriefer. The completed Vessel Arrival Info is emailed to the logbook group at the Pacific Islands Science Center.

Purpose:

The purpose of the Vessel Arrival Info spreadsheet is to ensure that there is a match between the logbook data the observer collected and the logbook data the captain submitted to the Pacific Islands Science Center.

Notes:

The manual creation of the Vessel Arrival Info spreadsheet and sending via email was automated. Please refer to Project called Pacific Islands Region Observer Program (PIROPS) for additional info.
