Data Quality
Representativeness: |
A census of charter operations were surveyed and 47% of charter operations across the State of Hawaii responded to the survey. |
---|---|
Quality Control Procedures Employed: |
After the data were recorded through primary in-person data collection methods (paper), data were entered into the data entry file (MS Access database). Then the entered data were subject to logic tests and appropriate skip patterns. The data were assessed for outliers and cleaned. Finally, the cleaned data were used to generate data reports and summaries. |
