Caribbean Seasonal and/or Area Closures GIS data

This data represents 9 geographic areas described in Title 50 CFR Part 622, Fisheries of the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, and South Atlantic, Subpart S - Reef Fish Fishery of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Subpart V - Queen Conch Resources of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Appendix E - Caribbean Island/Island Group Management Areas.

The purpose of this data is to visually represent the seasonal and/or area closures for GIS analysis and display. This does not necessarily reflect the latest information contained in the Code of Federal Regulations. Users must assume responsibility to determine the appropriate use of this data as the currency and/or accuracy of this data cannot be guaranteed.
