Summary

Abstract

All methods of data collection and recording in this table followed the Alaska Fisheries Science Centers RACE Division protocols (Stauffer 2004). The field "AreaSweptkm2" is often used to calculate biomass. This table links to the other 3 tables called: "tblBotCatch" (for fish catches), "tblBotLength" (for fish lengths collected), and "tblBotSpecimen" (for fish specimen collections e.g., age, gonads etc.). Note: the field "NetType" is the only field that informs the reader which hauls used each of the 2 gear types. See the Final Report for differences in catches due to gear type.
