RECID NUMBER	Unique record identifier assigned to record. For Woods Hole data, this record id was extracted from the original benthic files loaded into ORACLE. For Sandy Hook data, this record id was assigned sequentially while loading the SH data into the benthic tables.
CRUISE_ID VARCHAR2	Cruise ID formatted as 4 digit year, 2 character vessel code, and 2 character cruise number. This id was created from the original Woods Hole and Sandy Hook benthic codes for vessel and cruise.
STATION VARCHAR2	Station number. For Sandy Hook data, this is a consecutive station number, 1 thru last station.
REPLICATE_NUMBER VARCHAR2	Grab sample replicate number. Number of replicates that were taken.
FIXED_SITE VARCHAR2	Fixed site designation used primarily for repeatedly sampled fixed monitoring sites. Used in Sandy Hook data only.
