The human-use features depicted on the maps are those that could be impacted by an oil spill or could provide access for response operations. Salt ponds (camaroneras/salineras) - Location of salt ponds or shrimp farms. Many of these areas serve a dual use as salt farms or shrimp farms, depending on the season.
